From greeting us at the door on our arrival to arranging taxis and tours to loading our luggage when we left, Mei, Sally, Sandy and Mandy were outstanding. The breakfast was amazing and we appreciated amenities like free laundry and drinks and snacks available at all times. Our clean and comfortable room was generously stocked daily and we enjoyed streaming our favorite US shows during our downtime on the large TV. Although it was right above the lobby and looked out onto a very busy street, it was amazingly quiet. The neighborhood has a variety of food options from street vendors to upscale steak houses. You can easily shop for everyday necessities and there are plenty of places to get a massage and hot tea at a low cost. It is about a 10-minute walk to the MRT which would be a disadvantage for some, but taxis are cheap and always available (the staff will order them for you and provide the destination to the driver). An amazing value that really added to our trip.Show More

As some reviewers have mentioned, the sound isolation isn’t perfect, but everything else about the hotel more than makes up for it. The staff were exceptionally warm, engaging, and professional from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and genuine helpfulness created a truly welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable.The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of vegetarian options. I also loved the afternoon and evening snacks, which added an unexpected but very appreciated touch of hospitality. Despite the minor noise issue, the overall experience was excellent. Ambience Hotel delivers real value, comfort, and care, and I would definitely choose it again when I return to Taipei.Show More
