They also downplay the fact that the rooms can be extremely noisy due to the adjacent music venue. If your idea of "noisy" is feeling like the band is performing in the washroom next to your bed, you’ll be fine. Otherwise, book somewhere else. We booked two nights, and upon arrival, were informed it would be "somewhat noisy" until 2 a.m. We debated leaving but were told they would not refund the first night (despite someone standing behind us trying to book a room in the fully booked hotel). However, they said they would cancel our second night if we weren’t satisfied. We thought, "What the heck—it can't be that bad." A little noise, maybe. But even with earplugs and noise-canceling headphones, the music was beyond loud, vibrating up through the floors, plumbing, and walls. This is not a little back beat from house music, you might as well be in the bar. We canceled the second night, and the staff acted as though they were doing us a favor. One young woman even said, “Yes, I’m used to second-floor complaints.”Show More

We re...Warning! Read the hotel description carefully! I missed the fact that they are a “minimalist” hotel. This means you get a bed, a table, a chair and a bathroom - nothing else - including service! We reported a broken toilet seat as soon as we checked in and 3 days later on check-out, it remained unfixed. The mattress was great, but with room only being 7.5 to 8 feet wide, if you get stuck with the wrong side of the bed, you will have to learn the pidgeon-tow shuffle to get around the bed in the 10 to 11 inch gap between the bed and the wall. It became a bit of a joke between my wife and I (of course I got stuck with learning the shuffle). The room was mostly clean but they use an open shower so water goes everywhere and, of course, they don’t clean the room so you have to clean it yourself to prevent slippage. The lack of daily cleaning also leaves a breeding ground for mildew in the shower. It has some potential, but I will never stay there again. Show More

Lounge, laundry, and kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker on our floor made our stay comfy and affordable as we didn't have to eat out often. We just bought products at Walmart, put them in the fridge and microwaved them. The hotel warns guests that there may be loud nights when they host concerts on their lower floor. However, having stayed for 16 nights there, I would say the sound is actually not that loud. I definitely recommend the hotel.Show More

It was 8:30 when we left and were charged 8.75 for parking. The attendant said she is not sure why we were told it would be no charge. The price I paid from hotel.com was greater than the receipt provided by the hotel by twenty dollars as well. While that is not the hotels issue it did not sit well with me using hotel,com in the future. The rooms are small, no fridge, coffee or tv. We were told European style….we were in Europe this past fall and we had all the above amenities in the room. All in all 200 for one night downtown was not too bad. Show More
