I chose this hotel because I was close to the beach and it had large rooms for the entire family...This was my first time in Hawaii, and I decided to take my entire family with which was a big blessing. I chose this hotel because I was close to the beach and it had large rooms for the entire family. I booked a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and had 2 balconies, and although the furniture, it's a little outdated, I had no complaints. Everything was perfect. Check-in was easy, parking was easy. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The room had a convenient washer and dryer. It had a full kitchen with cooking supplies. Full size refrigerator with ice maker. I honestly had no complaints. I am so happy I went with my entire family and we had an amazing time. The hotel was perfect for us. Show More

But what I liked least about the whole experience was being told that someone was going to come and fix the TV and never showed up. I contacted the front desk twice and even walked down to talk to the front desk each time they assured me someone would be up shortly. I don’t think they ever had any intention of fixing the TV. There is some food across the street you could walk to, otherwise, you will need to shop for food to cook in your unit. The food at the restaurant was amazing there. The units are a bit older and could use some updating, especially the shower, however it was comfortable and the view from our room was incredible. Having a washer/dryer was the key for us. They started replacing the carpeting throughout the hallways to the units but we were never displaced or interrupted. I would definitely stay here again.Show More

T...We had a great stay. Our 2B/2B GV was a perfect fit for our family. Two teen girls need their space and we need ours, so this set up was ideal. The kitchen and washer and dryer were awesome as well. The property is located within walking distance of food trucks, grocery store, and shops. Both of the pools were very big and well maintained. The beach left a little to be desired as there are two properties flanking it which prevent you from strolling down the beach for a walk but otherwise it was okay. It’s an adequate beachfront but not really Kaanapali proper. Just fyi you’re going to pay a $25/day resort fee and $10/day to park your car so that stings a bit when you’re checking out. The hotel has an on site restaurant that was pretty good, and there is a mini mart on property for everything from alcohol and incidentals to pancake mix and sunscreen. You have to pay to use the gym through a third party and an app subscription, so I didn’t bother. You get trash service on the third day but you have to request room cleaning for a fee. We just cleaned up ourselves and requested towels when needed. We enjoyed the sitting area on the balcony and the view of the well maintained resort grounds. To sum it up we really enjoyed the stay. We were there for eight days and usually back in the room at 7:30/8 at night so having the extra room for our family at night was really nice. If you really want to experience Kaanapali beach you may want to look at the properties South of Black Rock.Show More
