I had little expectations to be honest knowing it is a select brand. But I was happy to see it looked nice. The hotel had a modern vibe but the service at the desk is subpar. Front desk agents don’t h...I had little expectations to be honest knowing it is a select brand. But I was happy to see it looked nice. The hotel had a modern vibe but the service at the desk is subpar. Front desk agents don’t have a welcoming vibe, nonchalant almost. You know when you feel welcome, you just get that feeling? Here you don’t. It seems like they don’t like their job. Why stay in hospitality then? Anyway, valet and the restaurant server were so much more hospitable than those at the desk. I asked the agent upon check in if there were room slippers. She said no. But she immediately said “but we do have bath towels…” and named other amenities that’s available in the room. I think she is forgetting that she works for a Marriott property. When did a Marriott property ever not have bath towels? Also calling them from the room to have Valet get the car ready is so annoying. They answer after a lot of rings, sometimes you have to call twice or thrice before they pick up. Also upon checkout, the front desk agent said the receipt will be emailed within the day. Guess what? It’s over 24 hrs. And I still don’t have it. I called the hotel before writing this review, neither billing nor front desk picked up. Also, the shower area is not thoroughly cleaned by the way. You know how the grout turns pink after more than a week of not scrubbing? That’s how it was in our shower area.Show More
