The hosts are very kind and friendly; however, the facilities could be improved. Specifically, rooms are NOT air conditioned, and this is very uncomfortable during Ottawa’s increasingly frequent heat...The hosts are very kind and friendly; however, the facilities could be improved. Specifically, rooms are NOT air conditioned, and this is very uncomfortable during Ottawa’s increasingly frequent heat waves. Also, common areas are jammed with stuff making it feel disorganized, untidy, dark and dusty. The furniture in my room was mismatched and very worn — beyond vintage charm. It’s great value for the location, but next time, I will shell out more for a regular hotel with air conditioning, decor that feels tidy and clean.Show More
