beds were very comfortabel and we had a nice view over the waterfall, the location is great, bar is nice, we didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. We had two rooms, 5th floor, for two nights on points, looking over driveway and toward town. Pros: Location can not be beat! Rooms were quiet (which was shocking as hotel was packed) and well appoin...We had two rooms, 5th floor, for two nights on points, looking over driveway and toward town. Pros: Location can not be beat! Rooms were quiet (which was shocking as hotel was packed) and well appointed with fun art. Did not hear any hallway noise and we were next to elevators. Because we are platinum they were able to provide 4pm checkout, grateful! Dinner and breakfast were both tasty. Recommend walking everywhere, great shopping and eating town (Indaco, Camp and Nose Dive all enjoyable), History museum was fun. Areas to improve: checkin was not helpful nor welcoming, no info on hotel nor stay in Greenville, instead gathered items as we walked around town. Curtains in one room opened and closed on their own each day. One room not cleaned, other one was, had to call down at 430 to get it taken care of. 4pm checkout still resulted in keys being turned off (requiring return to front desk) and actual checkout of one room requiring check back in. Broken hairdryer showed lack of attention to detail and agree with other posts on slippery showers. If I had points I would stay again, if not there are other well situated hotels in town, all walkable. FShow More

The atmosphere was breathtaking. My fiance and I didnt grow up in money but now as successful adults we can afford something like this. The hospitality and kindness we were shown was phenomenal. The hospitality and kindness we were shown was phenomenal. Christy was at the front desk and she was absolutely amazing and so kind. Since we are new to the fancy hotel scene she explained everything we didnt understand or know was possible with a hotel like this. She even went so far to compliment my hair as well as my engagement ring. She congratulated us numerous times on our engagement. The room was wonderful, the view of the river was perfect. The bed is possibly the comfiest bed I have ever been in. I saw Christy the following day and waved at her and she waved back. It was really nice and stood out to me how personable the staff was, it felt like home. Check out was a breeze and no fuss. I was happy to see Christy again before we left. There was another woman working the counter and she made the experience personable as well. It felt like these ladies were life long friends.
