Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a number of sig...I recently stayed at your hotel in Rome from July 11 to July 18, and I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a number of significant issues that severely impacted our comfort and overall enjoyment.
There was no hot water available for the entire week due to a broken boiler, making basic hygiene extremely difficult. I complained several times and each time I was told the same thing and that it was being worked on. The toilet seat in our room was broken and remained unfixed during our stay.
Every time we attempted to use a hair dryer, the power would go out—clearly indicating a serious electrical problem.
There was a large pile of garbage just outside our room that emitted a foul odor and remained there for several days.
We raised these concerns during our stay and requested a refund and cancellation so that we could move to a new hotel. However, the manager on-site refused to process our request, leaving us with no choice but to endure the unacceptable conditions. The only thing I was offered was a cheap bottle of wine and my tourist taxes returned in the amount of $105.00. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The lack of basic amenities, combined with the unresponsiveness of the staff, was both frustrating and disappointing.
Given the circumstances, I am requesting a partial refund to reflect the substandard conditions we endured.Show More
