The rooms were spacious and clean with a beautiful view—not sure if all rooms have terrific views but ours did, including a small terrace overlooking the front of the hotel. This hotel is beautifully decorated and safe with 24 hour staff and a bellman. There is also a nice rooftop bar/lounge with both indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast is served on the 9th floor near the bar/lounge area and has beautiful city views as well. The breakfast selection is amazing with many different choices of breakfast items, delicious pastries, cappuccino & other coffee choices or tea, etc. The beds and bedding are still firm, but softer and more comfortable than all of the other hotels we stayed at while visiting Italy. The bathroom shower is still small by US standards but more spacious than most of the hotel Italian hotels we stayed at over our month long visit to Italy. Be prepared for a lot of street noise from motorcycles, horns, ambulance sirens, etc. at all busy, tourist spots in Italy. This hotel is upscale and has good soundproofing despite the constant noise outside. The only negative is there was a party or wedding reception off the main lobby area of our hotel (possibly in a banquet room or something) on Friday night in which which we could hear & feel excessively loud music until 11 pm—we were staying on the 3rd floor so this is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. We had others in our group that had very early departure flights as well as other people staying with babies and young children that I’m sure were trying to sleep. Not sure if this is the norm at this hotel but the music was excessively loud. This should not deter you from staying here as you can’t beat the convenience of the location, amenities, security, cleanliness, beautiful decor, etc. We highly recommend this hotel!Show More
