The staff are amazing and were so helpful, giving us fantastic advice on how to get to our preferred destinations to make the most of our time in Paris. The breakfast was a substantial continental and we were very well looked after by the staff at breakfast. We chose this hotel as it has a lift. I have mobility issues, and a lift is really helpful for me. Unfortunately, the lift broke down on the first day of our visit, which required me to walk up 6 flights of stairs to get to our 3rd-floor room. It could have been worse and been the 7th floor, in which case my husband would have needed to carry me some of the way! This was unfortunate but also unpredictable. As a top tip for visitors to Paris in general, familiarise yourself with the transport systems in Paris and the Navigo card. Once you get your head around it, it is really very good and will save you time and money. BUT, also be aware of the serious pick-pocketing and theft issues on public transport. There are several videos on both how to travel safely and how to use the Navigo system on YouTube I watched before we left.Show More

However, for a 4-star hotel, several basic services were disappointing. I stayed for a week, and they repeatedly told me they didn’t have a dental kit available. On top of that, I had to approach the staff every single day sometimes day and night just to request a plug for the bathtub, since the deluxe room doesn’t have a standing shower. Five days of asking for a simple item and receiving no solution is honestly unreal and quite sad for a hotel of this rating. Additionally, the walls are extremely thin. You can clearly hear people talking or even taking a shower in the neighboring rooms, which makes the stay far from relaxing. In conclusion, if you’re coming for the aesthetic, it’s a nice looking hotel. But if you expect true 4-star service and comfort, this hotel may not meet your expectations.Show More
