Still, persistence won out and eventually we conveyed the essential truth of the matter: we were guests, and our car would like to retire for the evening as well. Inside, the mood shifted like a page turn. At the front desk, we were met by a woman whose warmth felt intentional, almost bespoke. She checked us in with ease and conversational grace. When I casually inquired about charging stations, she gently delivered the news that the garage lacked one no inconvenience at all, as we were static for the day and planning little beyond restoration. The elevator ride upward hinted at something promising, but the reveal came upon opening the door to our room—an impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed sanctuary that balanced boutique restraint with lived-in comfort. Spacious, serene, and styled with a designer’s quiet confidence, it was an ideal home base for our family of three. Once luggage was tucked away and a small reset ensued, curiosity led my son and me to explore the hotel’s offerings. The ground-floor coffee shop hummed with artisanal energy, while the karaoke rooms winked with playful intrigue just beyond—a modern hospitality love note to both culture and whimsy. And then there was Topside: the rooftop restaurant poised like a promise above the city. We peeked in early, delighted by the panoramic potential and already plotting our return for dinner. By night’s end and trip’s close the verdict was clear: Revival excels at the art of the stay. Effortlessly clean, generously welcoming, and balanced in its offerings, it delivered a travel experience that felt both curated and authentic. Would we return? Without hesitation. While the décor is beautiful and the rooms are clean, several issues made my stay much less comfortable than expected. Despite the hotel’s website stating that in-room coffee is provided, there was none. You can get coffee downstairs, but it’s terrible—and consistently terrible. The restaurant, Dashery, serves food that’s just okay and extremely slow to arrive. The to-go containers are oddly shaped and awkward to eat from. Noise is another big issue. The rooms are very close to a loud elevator that rings at all hours, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. My bathroom door wouldn’t latch shut, and there’s no shower door, so the floor becomes slippery after a shower. There are no ice machines anywhere; you have to order ice and wait for it to be delivered. Another frustration: the room’s refrigerator is completely pre-stocked with overpriced drinks the hotel wants you to buy, leaving no space at all for your own items. It feels more like a sales tactic than a guest convenience. Aesthetically, the place is lovely, but the details fall apart—literally. The wallpaper in my room had rips patched with packaging tape. On the bright side, the staff is friendly and tries to be helpful, but the problems seem to be with management and maintenance, not the people working there. In short: clean and pretty, but form clearly won out over function. With a few fixes, this could be a great hotel—but for now, it’s not worth the hassle.Show More

When we arrived, we were given only two small towels. After requesting more, they never came. Later, when the room was cleaned, they didn’t leave any towels at all. The hotel claims to offer turndown service, but nothing meaningful was actually done. Little details like this matter, and unfortunately, they added up to a disappointing stay. With better customer service and more attention to basic amenities, this hotel could easily earn four stars. For now, though, three stars feels fair.Show More
