Our deluxe king room, with a pool view, was spacious, comfy, and felt like a luxurious home. The hotel, opened in 2014, still looks fresh with a stunning blend of European and Asian design, and the lobby is full of elegant photo spots. Breakfast at Café Un Deux Trois on the fifth floor was outstanding, with fresh food and signature pastries in a cozy, elegant setting. Service was warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The only downside: the location is quite isolated. No convenience stores or eateries nearby, and walking to MRT is tough—best to use Uber. Overall, we loved our stay at Mandarin Oriental Taipei and consider it one of the top hotels in the city. We’ll definitely be back!Show More

It was so good to come in from the heat into the lobby with the welcome tea and lovely staff. Room was spacious with a bath and walk in robe. Loved the pool, sauna, steam room, studio. Breakfast buffet was so delicious it was worth the stay alone! Lunch buffet at Un Deux Trois also exceptional.Show More

I demanded an apology for mistreating my Mother. Howard, one of the managers, and the General manager did not think it was appropriate for me to demand an apology. We had stayed there for a whopping 18 months before and were there for another long term stay. As a result of this incident, they did not allow us to continue our long term stay. He, Howard, and the receptionist are the worst hotel employees I have ever encountered. If they treat the longest staying guest this way, think about how they will treat you.Show More
