After my shower, feet are black from walking around for one minute. Floors are horribly dirty. Bathroom sliding door kept coming off the rail, had to repeatedly fix. Bathroom sliding door kept coming off the rail, had to repeatedly fix. Fiancé was trapped in bathroom at one point until I fixed the door, again. Breakfast was disappointing on several levels. Server was not welcoming at all. The food preparation was not good, small portions and not made per request. The layout of the suite is odd. Can’t sit to watch tv but in single chair, nor from bed. Shelf in bathroom is flaking apart, soap and shampoo dispensers are rusted, corroded and dirty looking. There was one single wash cloth. The front desk was exceptionally polite and expedient. The lady who at front desk asked me if you wanted it fixed now or later, so I said I wanted them to come right away, but I waited for over 30 minutes, and no one came for fix it. I had plans later, so I called to front desk tell them that no one would come to fix it, so no need to come now, and they just said, "Oh okay" and that was it. The floors and bathrooms didn't seem to have been cleaned. If the room was properly cleaned, the safety box e flaws will be found. It was worse than a motel, It not a hotel.Show More

It’s easier to go to a restaurant than getting something to eat during Comic-C...I’ve been staying at the Porto Vista Hotel since 2009. I enjoy staying here during Comic-Con since it’s in Little Italy. It’s easier to go to a restaurant than getting something to eat during Comic-Con and nice places to get a drink. This year I did had an issue at the hotel. The bathroom sink was leaking my last day and the shower had probably been clogged and the back flow in the shower drain. I went to report it and they were able to send a maintenance man, Joseph who is a Navy veteran. He was able to fix it in less than 15 minutes and clean the shower floor. Thanks shipmate! Leann helped us out and was very nice. She said they had a $20 offer to upgrade from a queen to a king with balcony so we jumped on the offer. The room was lovely. Nice and clean. Looks very updated. Balcony overlooked the ocean. Came with mini fridge, sink, and a microwave. The restaurant is awesome. Over looks the ocean as well! 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be staying here again! They even held our bags for us while we explored and waited for our train ride back. Amazing service. Nice updated hotel! Thanks again! Show More
