I stayed here for my niece’s wedding and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a Marriott. Despite booking under the wedding block, my reservation was never linked, so I missed the group rate and breakfast credit every other guest received. When I asked about the error, the front desk promised to remove the charges, but they never did. I drove back to fix it, only to have Rick Galindo, the Director of Sales, refuse to honor the correction his own staff promised. He was rude, inflexible, and completely lacking in empathy (shocking behavior for someone in sales). Several other wedding guests also had problems with their reservations. This completely soured the experience for the bride and groom, who spent thousands with this property. The management is careless, disorganized, and unprofessional.Show More

The room was clean and had everything we needed and more. Our room was cleaned every two days, which was more than enough, and we were provided with all the essentials. The hotel staff were amazing too! They were always very attentive and helpful, answering our questions and concerns as quickly and politely as possible. In terms of location: PERFECT! If you have a car, it's perfect because it's literally right beside the highway, which takes you directly to downtown San Diego. But if you don't have a car and need to use the bus or train, it's pretty well connected too, as there's a bus stop outside the hotel and a train station 15 minutes away. If we ever go back to San Diego, we will definitely go back to this hotel because we have no complaints.Show More
