(1)This historical landmark marks the former site of Inari Daimyojin Kakuichi Ryuo Shirahime Benzaiten, a shrine that was established around the time of the Meiji Restoration. It originally housed Shirahime Benzaiten, a deity of good fortune and fire protection, with Inari Daimyojin later enshrined alongside. Kakuichi Ryuo was added around 1940, but the shrine itself relocated in 1989, and this monument was erected in 2003 to commemorate its former presence.
