Our rooms on the second l...Despite the glitches during check in (that's why I can only give it 4 stars) , we found this hotel a unique place and will make this a regular stop when staying in Penticton. Our rooms on the second level at the back balcony overlooked the gardens, pool and hot tub. The room was nice and clean, with a large soaker tub and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the large hot tub and were surprised the pool was still open. There was a small but functional gym just down the hallway from our room. As vegans we were happy to see a couple of options at the Local Public Eatery at the west side of the gardens, an atmosphere that reminded us of European resorts. If you golf this is a perfect place as it's right at a well known course. The staff were friendly and sorted out our problems promptly. Checkout was easy. The pricing was competitive with other area hotels, but none had the gardens like the Balcomo. There are rooms that directly face the highway through town, and are likely noisy, but at the back it was quiet.Show More
