Seems like a good deal, with nice looking photos online of the courtyard and pool area. Not expecting luxury but only ended up staying 1 of 3 nights due to it being so unpleasant. Not expecting luxury but only ended up staying 1 of 3 nights due to it being so unpleasant. Really musty smelling room, condensation dripping down the bedroom walls, stains on the furniture, you can tell its not kept up or cleaned well. Final straw was stains on a "fresh" rolled up towel that actually smelled like feces. Friend went to report this in the morning and the man at the front desk said they "didn't know what to do". Found another hotel while out enjoying the rest of our day, went back to talk to the front desk later and the gentleman (different from the morning) was totally dismissive, defensive, actually smirking and clearly didn't believe us or care. Wouldn't offer a refund at all because we "should've come earlier in the morning to tell them" (we did). Stay away, stay anywhere else in Penticton, its a dump.Show More

Our room had a full size fridge which was perfect for storing ...A group of 6 couples stayed at the Sahara Courtyard in Penticton this past long weekend. The rooms were spacious, very clean and updated. Our room had a full size fridge which was perfect for storing beverages :) The courtyard has a large L-Shaped pool with large patio tables and chairs. This was a perfect gathering spot for our group. Raj was most gracious in helping with our reservations and any incidentals we needed. We were so impressed that we have booked for next year ! Thank you for great memories. I would recommend this place especially if you want to get away a bit from the noise of Lakeshore Drive. PS: Timmy's is right across the road!
