Unfortunately, the experience did not match the look. I stayed on the eighth floor, and the entire floor had a strong dog smell. I don’t mind pets at all, but my room smelled exactly like dogs, which made the stay uncomfortable. The door stopper in my room was broken, and the phone did not work, so I couldn’t reach customer service directly. These are small issues that can be fixed, but they still affected the quality of my stay. What concerned me most was the customer service. The front desk service manager, of all people, was extremely nonchalant and unhelpful. This person also trains other staff, which is disappointing and honestly concerning. It made the experience feel very “stay at your own risk.” On a positive note, the location is excellent especially if you need to be near MD Anderson Cancer Center. It’s within walking distance and pet-friendly, which can be a big advantage for long stays. The valet company, however, was the highlight of my visit. Every valet attendant I encountered was outstanding and deserves a five-star rating. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend this hotel to others? No. For comparison, I stay at Hilton properties twice a week for business and consistently receive excellent service at places like The Chifley and DoubleTree in Houston. Unfortunately, Blossom did not come close to that standard.Show More

The decor is very very dated. Green and pink hues with lots of brass. Very 1994. The theme looks to be Asian but it's a murky version of it. My stay started off great. I arrived late and Lee at the front desk and the gentlemen at the valet could not have been more accommodating. Fast and professional. My room was clean and the amenities are great. The trouble started the next day. It took 8 calls over 90 minutes for room service to pick up. Three times I called the front desk giving up after 20 rings. Next day not much better still no answer at room service. I did reach the front desk. Asked if he could have room service call us. It never happened. I also asked because of my disability if my dry cleaning could be brought up. Sure he says. 6 hours later nothing. Or friend got it Housekeeping also crazy inconsistent. Constantly leaving behind trash but giving us a pile of towels. Whoever is running the show here needs some major help.Show More

The package arrived after my departure, but instead of helping, the hotel administration and security repeatedly insisted it never arrived — for weeks. Only after constant follow-up and pressure did they finally “find” the package, which had been there all along. I even arranged for UPS to pick it up, and the hotel suddenly came up with a list of excuses for why they couldn’t release it. I’ve sent numerous emails, copying management, front desk, and security, and they’ve now completely stopped responding. The lack of professionalism and basic communication is astonishing. If you expect reliability, honesty, or even a minimal sense of responsibility, stay away from this place.Show More
