It’s familiar, comfortable and fills your heart with a quiet joy. I’ve known the Concierge team - Sam, Leng, Tum, Bobo, Tui, etc - for quite some time. They deserve far more than 5 stars out of 5. They work incredibly hard, are attentive and hospitable to every guest, and always ready to go out of their way to help. At least 10 out of 5 stars! Front Desk is always a pleasure to interact with. Front Office Manager Soda, Jew, Mameaw, Yam, Nok, Ann, Just, etc, - many thanks for your ready smiles, warmth and cheerfulness which always brightens up the day. The hotel’s open concept design with the restaurant, bar and lobby sharing one seamless space means that one gets to run into the cheerful F&B staff all the time! F&B manager Jumper and his team (Dream, May, Sanam, Meaw, Pim, Tun and many others) always provide heartwarming hospitality. And of course Rudee, F&B Sales Manager - thank you so much for always having the time to chat. The housekeeping team on my floor of supervisor Orn, regular Jeab, and my old friend Duen - you guys are fantastic. The executive management team, led by GM Ashwin and Operations Manager Eva, are very personable and approachable. The rooms are very new and well designed. It had almost everything we could ever expect. ( Except for CNN on the TV ) . ( Except for CNN on the TV ) . Even the views from the room , although mostly of buildings was still impressive. Beds were very comfortable. But most importantly, the service staff at the bar / bistro downstairs were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our thanks goes to Tun and Best who made such lovely cocktails during their happy hours at the bar and coffee the rest of the day. Also at the front desk was Soda who really was attentive to our needs ... and gave us those wonderful Hilton Cookies . In all, I think this Doubletree Hilton at Ploenchit , Bangkok has it all - Great staff, Wonderful Location and Fabulous rooms. Thank you. I will be back.Show More

Byt the property is within walking distance of Ploenchit BTS station. Infact, it's within walking distance to Rajprasong shopping area, and just a couple of train stations away from Siam. Rooms are well maintained and super clean. The little bar near the reception counters is a pleasant place to unwind. Friendly and attentive bar tenders Tun and Best will take care of you, as always. Breakfast at the lobby dining area is always a pleasant experience as the staff here are always eager to take care of you. Sanan, Dream, and N'Meaw are super helpful.Show More
