I selected this location specifically for the balcony rooms that had a view of the water and cruise ships coming in and out, as well as it's proximity to Port of Miami. Our Uber ride from the hotel to the port was only 10 minutes, which was awesome! It was a very walkable location for shopping or dining, and we enjoyed walking to the Bayside Market for dinner. For those looking for a view, the balcony view is limited: you can see the water and the ships if you're not sitting - there is no direct view. We were fine with this for just an overnight stay, but would have liked a more direct scenic view. Thoughts on our room: the outlets in the room are in odd locations and very loose when we were trying to charge our battery banks, they kept falling out as the sockets didn't "grip" well. There are actual glass drinking glasses and ice buckets in the room, which I was very leery of using when the floor of our room is all tile. While they had 2 bath towels, face towels and wash clothes there were no floor mats/shower mats, which I felt very unsafe when getting out of the shower and slipping on the tile floors. There were only 2 drawers in the room, and no luggage racks, so if you're considering a long stay it may not be very comfortable. The coffee maker is a Nespresso machine, but only to make the tiniest portions - you'll need to get coffee elsewhere. The in-room safe was nice and easy to use. I felt the room overall, with its attempt at comfortable-modern, is seriously lacking some common-sense amenities and comfort items. The hotel overall seems to be trying to hard at modern, lacks quite a bit of comfort. The hotel staff overall were always friendly and informative, Ty (at the front desk) was especially helpful and we appreciated his suggestions for walking the area.Show More
