Well, inside the hotel is nice. Outside is a disaster. Getting to it or around can be very challenging as the frontage road to the hotel is missing now. you have to drive through back neighborhoods ...Well, inside the hotel is nice. Outside is a disaster. Getting to it or around can be very challenging as the frontage road to the hotel is missing now. you have to drive through back neighborhoods to get to it from the rear. The St Louis street is sometimes closed during the week to make it even more difficult to get to. At 6:30 AM work dump trucks and machinery were going in front of the hotel to get positioned to begin work at 7:00am. The parking spots against the hotel are good, however the opposite side have between half and 1.3 of the length missing as the roadwork has torn up some of the parking lot. You can get to the covered canopy at the entrance, but can't go through it anymore as there isn't anything to drive through to. Construction dug up the other side. Views are piles of dirt and machinery. ALL DAY LONG. Room clean but shower water levels are average at best, water temp is ok. Breakfast was a disappointment, but half of that was due to machines going past the dining room. The outdoor area to eat is open but noisy and dusty. When the construction is over in 2027, I might go back. It started in 2023, so they knew about it but never mentioned in one the web site. They have pics of a grassy front lawn. This isn't anywhere near true. If you are an early riser , you will be ok, but if you want to sleep min past 7am... elsewhere is better.Show More

The front desk staff looked exhausted, as there was a guest ahead of us making a complaint, yet they still welcomed us with genuine kindness we were truly grateful for that. They even offered a cookie to my dog, Louis, who was traveling with us. It was his first time being in the car for more than 10 hours, so he was too tired to enjoy the treat, but I deeply appreciated the thoughtful gesture. Among all the pet-friendly hotels we stayed at during this trip, this one was by far the most welcoming toward dogs. Because we arrived so late, we didn’t have a chance to explore the surroundings that night, but the next morning we had breakfast, and the scrambled eggs were so delicious that I went back for a second serving. For anyone planning to drive to Quebec, I highly recommend this hotel it’s a perfect place to rest after a long journey.Show More
