I’ve just come back from a week at Hotel Conca Park, and overall I’d describe it as a pleasant stay with a few areas that could be improved.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The lemon trees and outdoor seating areas give it such a charming, authentic feel, and the location is perfect for exploring the area.
Staff
Most of the staff were professional, though at times I felt they could have been a little friendlier. Traveling alone, it’s always nice to have warm, welcoming faces around. That said, there were definitely some standouts — the restaurant manager (with glasses and a tie) and a lovely woman named Justine both went out of their way to make guests feel comfortable, so a big thank you to them.
Food
The food was good and always freshly replenished, which I really appreciated. While the options were a little limited and not as Italian-inspired as I expected, everything I tried was tasty. It would be great to see a bit more variety day-to-day (perhaps alternating dishes or different styles of eggs at breakfast). One small suggestion would be to allow outdoor seating on the terrace during meals — the setting is just too lovely not to enjoy! Also, water at dinner is an extra charge, so having a self-service option like at breakfast might be a nice touch.
Rooms
My single room was simple but comfortable — exactly what I needed. The only downside was the noise. The walls and doors are quite thin, so I was often woken up by other guests talking in the corridor outside their rooms, as well as by alarms going off in the mornings.
Pool Area
I didn’t swim but did spend some time on the loungers. There were usually beds available, but like other guests have mentioned, people start queuing around 7:30am to secure the sunniest spots before the sun moves in the afternoon. Understandable, but worth knowing if you like the best spots.
Overall
Hotel Conca Park is a beautiful place with a fantastic location. With a few small improvements in service, variety of food, and soundproofing, it could be even better. I’d be happy to return in the future once those tweaks are made.Show More
