Very well located hotel near all amenities in Sorrento.The railway station is close by but we didn't notice any sound issues.All staff were very good indeed and we enjoyed our stay.We had a pool view...Very well located hotel near all amenities in Sorrento.The railway station is close by but we didn't notice any sound issues.All staff were very good indeed and we enjoyed our stay.We had a pool view room which was well appointed with a strong hairdryer in the bathroom so ladies leave yours at home.We stayed half board but if I were to visit again,I would stay on a B&B basis.Starters and desserts from the fixed evening menu were very good but the main courses were a little disappointing.There is an A La Carte menu at an additional price.Special mention to Salvatore in the dining room who was very helpful and accommodating.There is a lovely rooftop bar and bathing area which was very pleasant during the day and it was lovely to have a drink there before dinner each evening. The reception team also helped us arrange boat tours to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. A well stocked supermarket is five minutes away.Turn left outside the hotel.Another suggestion is a visit to the Banana Split Bar which sells great cocktails.Turn right outside the hotel and walk about five minutes.I would not have known about this bar without other Trip Advisor reviews.The Three Tenors show at the local museum is also a great way to spend an evening and the tickets are well priced. I would recommend this hotel.Show More

This is the second time this autumn on Easyjet holidays and both times we appreciated their choice of hotels. Hotel Michelangelo is ideal for the train and bus station which we used to visit local sites, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Amalfi, etc. Cheap transport in Italy but not the taxis! We had a spacious room in the hotel overlooking the pool. Everywhere in the hotel was very clean. Buffet at breakfast was good and the evening meals tasty with plentiful choice. We recommend the autumn in southern Italy when the weather is not too hot for exploring the Roman sites.Show More

We were expecting a nice, charming hotel but this turned out to be very nice! Our room was perfect for 3 of us - we had a great loft to give our teenager some space from us. The hotel has a pool, jacuzzi and hydrotherapy pool. The breakfast was very good and the rooftop deck and bar was a great way to finish each evening. The hotel was a 4-5 minute walk from the train station and right in the middle of everything! When we visit Sorrento again, we will definitely be staying at the Hotel Michelangelo!Show More
