Perched on the hill overlooking Sorrento and the Bay of Naples, Hotel Cristina was a sheer treat, and we can’t wait to return. The rooms were clean, modern and so very comfortable, with a gorgeous modern bathroom. We loved the small balcony and the magnificent view of the bay from the room, and wherever you were in the hotel. Staff were so very friendly, efficient and helpful! It was a pleasure meeting and chatting to the owner Alessandro, who was so friendly, helpful and hands on! The breakfast buffet was honestly one of the best we have had, and the pistachio cream filled croissants were heavenly! The light lunches served on the terrace were delicious~! An additional treat was the pool and sunbeds around the pool. Very welcoming in the late afternoon after a busy day of sightseeing! The hotel shuttle that runs regularly from the hotel to the Sorrento train station was so convenient, providing easy access into town. We can’t fault this hotel. I thought for the price it was a great deal in general. Some not so great things - The bed was truly very uncomfortable. It was a spring mattress, and you could feel the spring digging into you if you laid on your side. The mattress also made so much noise that if I moved at all in the bed, I was almost guaranteed to wake my partner up. The bathroom was not very updated, there were some fixtures that were so old they had scratches all over them. The room was a bit stuffy and the AC didn't seem to work. I will say based on the other reviews, it sounds like our room in particular may have been a less updated room? We made the best of it and had a good time, but we were really surprised based on all the positive reviews we had seen online.Show More

The hotel has a complementary bus service that takes you straight into sorrento town where the train station is, which is so helpful! ...This hotel is simply amazing! Perfect location and perfect view. The hotel has a complementary bus service that takes you straight into sorrento town where the train station is, which is so helpful! The hotel is small enough that the staff get to know and recognise you. The staff at meal times were some of the best I've ever received, they are so attentive and friendly, Antonella and Francesco in particular. The complementary breakfast has a good selection of buffet including hot food, cold food and sweet treats. The lunch and dinner isn't included but I would highly recommend as it is really good food just on your doorstep, served by the lovely staff I mentioned earlier! The bedrooms are a good size with a comfy bed and also a good air-con. We were on floor 5 and balcony size is bigger than most hotels and overlooks the most beautiful view. The rooms are cleaned daily and also turned down at nighttime occasionally. One of the best hotels I've stayed in will definitely be back!Show More
