Das Hotel liegt ziemlich gut in einer für Washington wahrscheinlich relativ guten und sicheren Gegend am Rande der George Washington University, fußläufig zum Lincoln Memorial, zum Weißen Haus und zur...Das Hotel liegt ziemlich gut in einer für Washington wahrscheinlich relativ guten und sicheren Gegend am Rande der George Washington University, fußläufig zum Lincoln Memorial, zum Weißen Haus und zur Metro (die Metro selbst macht nicht immer einen sicheren Eindruck, und nicht umsonst lässt die Regierung hier wohl gerade die Nationalgarde patrouillieren, aber das hat natürlich nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun). Das Zimmer mit seiner hohen Decke war ganz hübsch, aber selbst für uns nicht zu große Menschen ziemlich eng, eben eine Wabe im Bienenstock ... ;-) Was die ziemlich junge Besatzung angeht, war das sicherlich die freundlichste und fröhlichste, der wir auf unserer Tour begegnet sind. Es war schon deshalb eine Freude, in dieses Hotel zu kommen. Wenn es nicht (wie viele andere US-Hotels) so überzogen teuer gewesen wäre (fast 230 Euro pro Nacht: so gut war das Zimmer ohne Frühstück nun auch wieder nicht), dann hätte es eigentlich volle zehn Punkte verdient ...Show More

The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace and attentive and friendly staffers. We enjoyed spending time there in the evenings watching the planes getting into Reagan Airport over a glass of wine. The breakfast room at entry level is also used as a bar. Breakfast choices are fine, so are prices.Show More

Arrival was brilliant and very professional and the hotel. Our room was made available to us on arrival and we got upgraded to the loft room. As we arrived on Halloween there was a party on the roof bar. We heard no noise nothing and we were underneath the bar. The place was packed and it’s such a fun vibe to the hotel. The pizza place at hotel is brilliant and food lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s not a big corporate hotel but it’s in a great location which is so safe and easy to get around. I would book this hotel again in an instant what a gem of a find.Show More
