I parked in front of hotel to check-in. Dropped off luggage in the room, went back to move my car and found a $115 parking ticket in it. Hotel staff said there were nothing they could do. We were also told parking was selfparkinf and there was a garage next to the hotel. Well. The garage is 3 blocks away and the cost is $60 per day. Our room was ok. Clean, nice bed and bath. However there was no desk. Also, bring water bottles to drink. Thee were 2 water bottles in the bedroom but they charge $6 per bottle if you drink them. You are better off staying in the Hyatt Centric nearby. Much better value. Show More

We booked a king room with a pull out sofa since there were three of us traveling. Check-in was at 3pm but our room wasn’t ready until 4:30. Check-in was at 3pm but our room wasn’t ready until 4:30. The room was small, the bathroom smelled bad, and the phone didn’t work. When we came back to our room in the evening around 10:45 pm for bed and went to open the pull out sofa, it wasn’t a bed, just a small sofa. I went to the lobby and reported this to the front desk. Ultimately, there were no other rooms available and it was close to midnight before we were given a thin mattress I had to sleep on the floor. Very uncomfortable night. They said Expedia would give us 50% of the room cost back which was good, but it was a terrible night. I do not recommend this hotel.Show More

I really liked that they were located within walking distance to the Broadway theater district. Staff were respectful and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety. With so many floors, it was hard to get on the elevators to leave because they were all full. But, the rooms were spacious and clean. The positives outweighed the elevator issues so I would comeback again. In fact, it was the consistency of service of Hyatt Places from staying at other locations (eg. Hyatt Place Downtown Denver) that made me choose it in New York. It’s economical while providing a quality experience.Show More

Walked 20 blocks tobbuy an air purfier tobtry and get rid of the smellbwhic didnt work .. ordered room service and the buold has gorrible reciprion it said they were bringing tobthe room they left it on the xlunter and onlt saw the message after i was leaving the roon ...never again willno stay at this chain Show More
