From the moment we arrived we were blown a...We spent 5 days at Kayon Jungle Resort and find it hard to fault anything about the entire experience which was a rare blend between luxury and authenticity. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the panoramic views of the jungle and the design of the resort, punctuated by the three-tiered infinity pool which was truly a sight to behold. The service provided by staff in all areas was exceptional and always tailored to our taste to make us feel very valued as guests throughout our stay. This high standard of service extended right through from the traditional Balinese welcome we received from Sang, Citra and the rest of the reception team, to the fantastic service at the Kepitu restaurant and bar from Marta, Tina and team. Our stay at Kayon Jungle Resort was littered with little touches which made our time feel very special, such as staff knowing our names and room number and F&B staff remembering little details about our dining preferences which really enhanced our experience at the resort. Whilst our room and the entire resort were spotless and the facilities all of the highest quality, we never once felt anything was artificial or manufactured which was really down to the quality of the staff, most of whom were local to Ubud and the surrounding area which really enhanced the intimate and welcoming feel of the resort. The main highlight of our trip, however, was the amazing driver and tour guide Deni. Right from the moment we were picked up at Denpasar airport, we felt immediately at ease and Deni was an immense help to guide us through our various trips throughout Ubud and elsewhere on the island, always greeting us with a smile and full of life and conversation. We will never forget our amazing stay at Kayon Jungle Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit to Bali - 10/10 does not do it justice!!Show More

His attention to detail and service was amazing. All the way up until he had to take a few days off for his wedding! Septi was another shining star of the resort. She was always quick to respond to all our needs. She arranged everything. From the buggy service, escorting us to breakfast, setting up private cars for sightseeing, and our dinner reservations. She was absolutely amazing! Almost every evening we had new flowers and decorations on the bed as well as fresh fruit and desserts. Lia, Dewa and the entire staff made our stay unforgettable! The resort was so beautiful. Nestled in the jungle they built this great resort with top notch amenities. We were there for 6 nights so the entire staff got to know us well. Everywhere we went, they all knew our names. Breakfast overlooked the jungle and pool and had a great selection of food from different cultures. Dinners were really great as well with a wonderful wine selections. The service level at all the restaurants was top notch. Our driver Yoga made our trip! He took us to all the wonderful sights in and around Ubud. From waterfalls, temples, rice fields, breathtaking lunch spots, lakes, mountains, to the Luwak coffee plantations! He is very knowledgeable and spent time walking around with us going over the history and culture of Bali. If you want to go to Ubud and truly have a first class experience, the Kayon Jungle Resort is a must. The layout, the service, the attention to detail, and a kid free resort made it the perfect spot for us. I highly recommend it!!Show More

E...My partner and I held our wedding at Kayon Jungle Resort and stayed for three nights. It was, by far, the best hotel we have ever experienced. Nestled in the jungle, the resort is incredibly unique. Every staff member was exceptionally warm and welcoming, always greeting us proactively and doing their utmost to meet our needs. The private pool in our room was incredibly comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the floating breakfast in the morning—it was so relaxing. Watching a movie under the starry sky by the pool was also a wonderful experience. A special thanks to our butler, Krisna, who was absolutely delightful. Always cheerful and smiling, he would often ask me, "Where is your beautiful wife? Your queen?" The food at the resort was excellent, though it was a pity that there were no seafood options. Additionally, the wedding cake wasn’t particularly tasty, and the Korean dishes served were not very authentic. There were also no Chinese food options available. However, these minor shortcomings couldn’t overshadow what was otherwise a truly memorable experience.Show More
