A wonderful stay.
Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and gave us a lovely restful time in the afternoon after some exploring in beautiful Lisbon. I particularly enjoyed the balcony over looking 2 sides of the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and gave us a great nights sleep preparing us well for more exploring the next day. Very nice toiletries offered in the bathrooms.
The staff throughout the hotel are wonderful (from front of house, to those in the restaurants and bars to those in house keeping). All were very helpful, expert in their customer service and always with a smile. They make the hotel a very happy place.
The restaurants served delicious food. We had breakfast and lunch in the hotel and the food was always fresh, tasty, of a high quality and offering a good variety. We also had a late supper one evening of your club sandwich and it was the best I have ever eaten.
We really enjoyed the Lisbon Light Show which we watched from the bar.

10/10 Amazing Stay at Lumen Hotel – 10/10 Experience!
We stayed at Lumen Hotel in early March 2025, and everything about our trip was simply fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located, with spacious, modern, and impeccably clean rooms. The breakfasts were outstanding, offering a huge variety of fresh and delicious options.
Our room was on the 6th floor, and the view of Lisbon from there was breathtaking—even on cloudy days, the city looked stunning! One of the highlights of the room was the large mirrored wall—such a great design touch.
A special mention goes to the hotel staff: everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. From the very first moments, we felt at home, and that’s all thanks to the amazing team.
We also really enjoyed the Light Show that takes place every evening in the hotel’s courtyard. It’s a beautiful and engaging way to learn more about Portugal’s history—definitely worth watching if you’re staying here!
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and we will absolutely be coming back the next time we’re in Lisbon!

10/10 The hotel exceeded all our expectations!
Great location, very comfortable and clean rooms, with every detail thoughtfully designed.
A special thanks to the hotel staff — true professionals who go out of their way to ensure your comfort. They explained everything, helped us park our car, and even offered umbrellas when the weather turned bad — it's the little things that really make a difference.
The hotel itself is stylish and beautiful, and the evening light show, which tells the history of Portugal, left a lasting impression — we've never seen anything like it! It takes place every evening at 10:00 PM.
The hotel also has a restaurant and serves excellent breakfasts with a wide variety of options. We're so glad we chose this hotel and will definitely return!

10/10 Excellent staff, vip service, and value.
Staff were very helpful and courteous and always trying to take an extra step to assist you. I had an early flight at 7am and the receptionist took the extra step to make sure the hotel provided a breakfast sandwich for me before I left for my flight without me even asking. They also did little things such as walking me to the elevator even though it was plainly in sight. There was much attention to detail to ensure high quality service. I highly recommend this hotel for it's staff and also the value of the room. I booked a standard room for one night yet without even asking they upgraded me to a suite for the night. Amazing staff. Will definitely stay again my next trip to Lisbon.

The rooms were spacious. We had an interconnecting room which worked really well for us. Lovely, big, clean bathroom with fabulous shower. The staff were polite and courteous, nothing was too much trouble, especially the restaurant staff at breakfast time. Thank you so much to Simon especially who made us a perfect pot of tea every morning. The Lumen light show again made this hotel a little bit different and was entertaining to watch.

The staff is amazingly friendly. Woman who helped me at the reception of of the friendliest and most professional receptionists I have experience for a while. The Suite was great. Location as well. Breakfast good and complete to Portuguese standards.

10/10 Exceptional staff in a lovely hotel
From the moment we arrived at the Lumen Hotel, Lisbon the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We received an upgrade (due to a birthday) to a Master Suite which was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Beatriz on Reception was exceptional. We were always greeted with a big smile, and she genuinely showed an interest in our day. She arranged memorable experiences for us and suggested things to do/places to visit. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the city. Breakfast was very good with a large selection which was always replenished.

The staff was very friendly from the very beginning, and they offered us a room upgrade and the breakfast for free.
The hotel was very close to a metro stop which made visiting very easy.
I also liked the sustainability incentives from the hotel, encouraging guests not to request cleaning / new towels every day and receiving a voucher for that.

Nice place to stay, very helpful staff. Good location. I liked breakfasts and lunch buffet. Tasty food with a wide variety of choices. The size of the room is just fine, for 1 person even big. I liked the vouchers for skipped cleaning, saved some of my money for food. In summary I feel the care to people who stay in this hotel. That makes the stay pleasant.

10/10 Incredible staff and exquisite rooms
Excellent staff and beautiful room. Daniel warmly welcomed us, and we were also surprised with an upgrade which really made our night in Lisbon very special. The room was immaculate and had an incredibly comfortable bed. There were many ways to tailor your stay. For example, although I did not use this service, I was very impressed to see a pillow service available. The breakfast was great too - again, very warm and cheerful staff made the experience special.

If you go to Lumen, I forbid you to miss breakfast and at least a lunch or dinner at the restaurant! The food is absurdly amazing, the chef is very kind and down to earth, checking-in on the customers and making sure their experience is just excellent.
The staff is very friendly and the light's show is definitely worth the experience. Everything was clean and organized. We were very happy with the bedrooms and so were the other guests that travelled with us.

Property was very clean, very modern with excellent facilities. The staff could not have been note helpful, they were amazing from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, they were so helpful and always engaging with you making sure you stay is as good as it can be! Bar staff were very good as well, remember your order and bring your drinks over to the table when ready!

The BEST STAFF SERVICE we’ve had at a hotel! Each employee was very attentive, spoke English fluently, helped us daily with facilities, suggestions, and advice. The evening light show was amazing!
The kitchen staff was outstanding, professional and efficient. They made our meals and experiences memorable!

10/10 Great modern hotel to have a pleasant staying
So new and progressive hotel with a wonderful personal and great additional option - patio and laser show.
It’s not the historical centre, but so close to it, so you could be there in 15 minutes walk.
I had a birthday and we received breakfast for free, which hadn’t been paid before, and a champagne as a gift.
Absolutely recommended!

10/10 Amazing hotel with great amenities and service!
The hotel is above expectations and in a very reasonable price ! The Rooms are clean and spacious with a wooden finish everywhere that makes you feel like you are in your home . Breakfast buffet with lots of choices , they also have many traditional Portuguese pastries . Staff very friendly , kind and always willing to help with everything . It’s also in a very good location , next to central places and metro station .
Definitely reccomend it if someone’s wants to visit Lisbon and stay in an amazing hotel!

The hotel was spotless, the rooms were well-equipped and large. The gym was very comfortable. Breakfast was also tasty and well served. The location is not in the center of Lisbon but within walking distance. The neighborhood is nice and friendly. The lights show was nice.

Incredible hotel. Probably my best stay yet. Comfortable, clean, great upgrades for free (likely because it was the off season). The light show is a nice addition as well! Overall, an incredible stay at incredible value.

We loved staying here. We got a good price and we happened to be staying overnight on Valentine’s Day and they gave a free upgrade to a top floor suite which was amazing. Wish we. Pull have stayed longer. It was one of the nicest hotel experiences I’ve ever had We have found our place to stay in future visits to Lisbon.

Very nice and well located hotel- close to the metro station and the tourist city center. We had a family room, very spacious, comfortable and clean with huge beds. Very nice and helpful service. Tasty, varied breakfasts. I recommend to watch the light show.
