The bedroom was large, comfortable bed, clean shower room. Breakfast was superb, with options to each inside or in the courtyard (weather depending). Plenty of options, hot and cold, with food made to order on request. Breakfast staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short 10 minute walk from the centre of town (palace), and within easy walking distance to other squares, restaurants and sights. For those interested, there is a gym on site - however, ask for directions, it's not well signposted! Note for improvement - It was an anniversary surprise trip, but the hotel didn't make any reference to this (no note, bottle of wine or pastries in the room on check-in which other hotels would usually offer as a token) - for an upmarket hotel, you expect the small touches. Would absolutely recommend to anyone as a central point for exploring the city.Show More
