We were a bit underwhelmed by this hotel. To be fair, we visited towards the end of the season and the weather wasn’t great, so we weren’t able to enjoy the beach or gardens. To be fair, we visited towards the end of the season and the weather wasn’t great, so we weren’t able to enjoy the beach or gardens. We found the hotel in need of some TLC - for example, litter and debris in the grounds, stained seat cushions on chairs, etc. There was no bar to speak of and not much atmosphere in the evening. This might be different in the summer. We ate dinner in the restaurant 3 times. The menu read well, but unfortunately it was disappointing. Most dishes were not to our taste - a mixture of cold, bland and poorly presented. We ate better, and cheaper, in Sorrento. Our room was spacious which we liked, but very dark as it had small, low windows and no view. I imagine this is a similar issue with all the rooms on the top floor. On reflection, I think this hotel would be nicer in the summer, but we felt we would have been better off staying in Sorrento centre which would have been a more convenient base for sightseeing and enabled easier access to a range of restaurants. Tips for those using public buses: - To access Sorrento there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel grounds. It’s an easy 10 minute ride into town. - If you want to take the bus to the Amalfi coast you will have to walk 15 minutes to a different bus stop. The road is narrow and winding, with no pavement. Just about doable, but you have to keep your wits about you! The bus was standing room only by the time we got on.Show More

La struttura è splendida, immersa nella natura e curata in ogni dettaglio, un’oasi di pace dove ci si sente subito a casa. La cucina è eccellente: piatti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, ricchi di sapore e tradizione. Ogni pasto è stato un vero piacere per il palato. Una menzione particolare per l'olio con aroma di limone prodotto direttamente dal Relais. Il personale è stato impeccabile: sempre gentile, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Liberato e Gabriele, che con la loro professionalità e simpatia hanno reso il nostro viaggio ancora più bello. Vittoria the reception manager was exceptional! Whatever problem you will encounter, she will happily sort it out! Our shuttle driver Armando was lovely and a special thanks to Liberato and Pierre Mario who both have great people skills, are very attentive and remembered guests names. It made everyone feel special. The grounds and location are simply magical..lemons, pomegranates, pomelos at your hands reach, you may even meet Bianca the goat lurking by the restaurant hoping for a pear or two.. thank you all so very much.
