The hotel is very convenient, 15 mins walk to waikiki beach, 1 hour walk to diamond head (45 mins jog with amazing view). Bus stops right in front of the hotel or across makes it easy to commute. ABC store right beside and across the hotel. The hotel doesn’t get too noisy at night because it’s not right at the Waikīkī beach area
Staff are very kind and approachable, William checked us in and provided very in depth explanation of the events (e.g fireworks every Friday), amenities, etc.
Overall stay was amazing, we will definitely come back to this hotel next time we visit Waikīkī

10/10 Fantastic time in Honolulu at the Romer!
The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large with great water pressure. The front desk staff were friendly, funny and helpful. I really liked the text message to check on us and the ability to ask questions or request something via text. We loved the ground floor restaurant, pool and beach items.

The property overall was quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Had a balcony with views of a car park.

The location of the hotel is good - 15 minutes to the centre of town and quick access by car to the main roads.
The restaurant serves good food albeit expensive and quite slow.

The Romer were very accommodating for a last minute rush for a hotel, we stayed in a King rom partial ocean view (VERY partial, probably not worth the price) The hotel itself is very clean and our room, bed and pillows were super comfortable! The location is a little ways away from the beach and shops, but could take you 10 minutes to walk to anywhere.

Well located, walking distance to center and Waikiki beach.
Nice corner room with large windows & balcony.
Hotel seems to be recently ‘refurbished’ giving it a retro-boutique hotel feel.
My only complaint is that the Staff/Service is inconsistent…..or lacking in Guest Service/ Hospitality training whereas a few were very helpful:)
Overall, pleasant stay.

One of our favorite hotels that we have been to! amenities were so convenient, breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was delicious, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. rooms clean, spacious and update! will for sure be coming back soon!

The cleanliness of the room was low. Despite upgrading my room to a higher tier as suggested at check-in, the room was unclean (damp, bad smell). On top of that, I got bed bug bites from the bed which was an inconvenience for the rest of my trip unfortunately. Additionally, the room was not cleaned during my three day stay at the hotel.

Staff super friendly and professional. Great location. Rooms clean and nice view! From the valet to the bartender, housekeeping and front desk all nice people. Definitely would stay there every time I visit Waikiki. Don’t forget to use the body wash, left me smelling like Hawaii when I came back home! Please send me some lol

The property was so cute, very festive since we booked near Christmas time. Kerri Ann at the front desk, and Gavin at valet were exceptional staff! The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and I loved the bathroom. It was close by Waikiki, and nightlife! The food wasn’t the best near this area - I’d recommend driving / ubering to restaurants in other areas outside Waikiki!

9/10 Fun and comfortable
We loved our stay at this hotel. We really enjoyed the whole nostalgic feel of the place which has been refurbished to present a retro 60s/70s Honolulu surf beach vibe. So clever and quirky and the pool with happy hour and people enjoying the sun was fabulous. We had friends staying at another hotel nearby for more dollars and they were jealous of our great choice. The staff was terrific and no request was too much trouble for them. The location is central but out of the busier areas.

10/10 A perfect stay in a perfect place
From the moment you check in, the staff couldn’t be lovelier. The hotel design is gorgeous, keeping an open feel to the outside. Our room was floor 12 and much more spacious than anticipated, with all entryways being again outside. The views were incredible and walk to downtown was less than ten minutes! The bar was great and I love that they do a little happy hour, we didn’t eat there, but food looked delicious! Will be recommending this to anyone who asks!

I liked the area the position it was in the bus stop out the front. I enjoyed the pool area wasn’t too big. It was just right. The staff were very friendly and nice. The breakfast and restaurant cafe also staff were very nice and pleasant and I enjoyed the welcome cocktail. My room was lovely and nice and spacious for me thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I have no complaints.
