Even though this was the smallest room I stayed in so far on our trip, it was the most comfortable. The hotel manager was very pleasant and friendly. This was a last minute reservation so I was happy they could also organise a last minute pickup from the airport which went very well. The hotel is on the Grand Canal, about a 10 minute walk to Piazza San Marco, and is right beside a vaporetto ferry stop which is very convenient if you want to buy an all day pass or get to the Santa Lucia train station. Overall, I was very happy with our stay.Show More

A hand written invoice of number 10, WITH the long "comma" attached by the end of the 0 became $19? I didn't ask for correction due to the fact that I am an solo elderly traveler. The $9 extra was not worth the confrontation especially in the foreign country. I hope & wish it was an honest mistake from the bar tender? Amen! Show More
