The staff, namely Arjol and Massimo, were INCREDIBLY helpful, kind and fun! The location of this place was the best part, you are one street over from all the happening places yet you'd never know it with how quiet everything was. We found leaving the key at the front desk before leaving for the day (something I saw other reviewers complain about) actually helpful as none of us needed to be responsible for the key. The double bed pushed together was lovely as my friend and I had our own space and bed yet it was space saving. My biggest complaint is the shower- the water would leak out everywhere but that is simply by design and can't really be helped (unless you want the shower curtain touching your body while showering, no thank you). While one of the bartenders (who shall remain nameless) was kind, he did get brave and put his arm around me at one point during a late night chat/drink with my friend outside. The three of us were engaged in conversation and I could tell he was clearly sweet on me. I was stuck in shock/fear and not sure how to react and it was uncomfortable for me as I struggle with setting boundaries. All in all, I would for sure stay again!Show More

Take the Alilaguna water bus from the airport (orange line) to the first...Lovely little hotel in a quiet location but only a ten minute walk to shops & restaurants & the water bus stop at San Marcuola. Take the Alilaguna water bus from the airport (orange line) to the first stop Madonna Dell Orto & then it's a 7 minute walk to the hotel. Can buy tickets at the airport €32 return. Recommend getting the no 1 or 2 vaporetto from San Marcuola down the Grand Canal. We bought a 2 day ticket for unlimited boat & bus use. Staff at hotel all very friendly & helpful & recommend restaurants. Room was very comfortable & clean. Small shower gel & shampoo provided & slippers which were useful. Asked for a kettle which we collected from the bar, bottles of water provided in the room daily. The bedroom door was heavy to open which is my only criticism. We did not have breakfast or use the bar which was very small as preferred to eat out, although there are some tables on the edge of the canal outside the hotel where you can have a drink. Would recommend this hotel & the Canneregio area as the train station is not too far away if you want to explore other areas.Show More

Je n'ai pas été déçu. L'hôtel est idéalement situé à Cannareggio, dans une zone très belle et beaucoup moins touristique que d'autres, et par miracle on peut y arriver de la gare Santa Lucia en vingt minutes. Le personnel est nombreux, compétent, efficace et courtois, la chambre que j'ai eue était belle (avec vue sur un canal). Le petit déjeuner bon dans des espaces larges. Surtout, le rapport qualité prix était vraiment très bon, fin octobre, par rapport à tant d'autres hôtels vénitiens qui sont scandaleusement chers par rapport aux services qu'ils offrent. Ai Mori d'Oriente, on trouve vraiment les prestations d'un hôtel de quatre étoile. J'y retournerai très volontiers.Show More
