The close proximity & ease of being able to get out from Venice Saint Lucia train station & take the vaparetto(water bus) around €10 each, to Rialto bridge stop - very quick then a few steps at end of...The close proximity & ease of being able to get out from Venice Saint Lucia train station & take the vaparetto(water bus) around €10 each, to Rialto bridge stop - very quick then a few steps at end of street you arrive at property - also opposite the Theatre Commodia. We are elderly 71 & 63 respectfully with some mobility arthritis issues & lots of luggage as we had been travelling for 2 months for our 40th wedding anniversary - so this hotel was in a perfect location.
Excellent service from everyone but in particular Nicoli & Daniel at front desk reception and Filipe who we met up on the rooftop bar, he was extremely friendly we had a great conversation & discussion about Venice & Italy - even took photos of us for our social media. What can I say the rooms have all been renovated & I felt like
“Marie Antoinette” in my very own palace.
This hotel is also very close to plenty of shops, chiccetti bars, restaurants, bakeries,
& any other shops close by.
All sites also close by within 5-15min walks.
Helped me that all close by especially with my mobility issues.
There is also a free tour of glass blowing at Burano - whether you buy something at the end or not - was an opportunity to experience something for free.
Room had a Big king size poster bed with gorgeous tasteful decor - had an outdoor terrace balcony, table & 2 chairs , desk and full big bathroom - exception in shower over bath (mobility or elderly may be a problem?)
Overall this is exceptional hotel that will fulfill all your wishes - we travelled around 20th October 2025 for a couple of nights was a great price due to low seasonal otherwise I’m sure it is very expensive
I have been around the world, travelled extensively and am a very picky customer, so take my word for it, this was definitely a 5 star for me - only this property does not have canal views - otherwise this would be categorised as a 5 star hotel.Show More
