My family and I stayed at Village Hotel Sentosa and I want to highlight both the hotel and an extraordinary staff member: Badrina Hamizan (Rina), the Senior Guest Relations Executive.
A day before check-in, Rina reached out personally via WhatsApp to remind me of my upcoming stay and check if I needed anything. I requested early check-in and she arranged it effortlessly and even surprised us with a complimentary upgrade from a Family Room to a Deluxe Family Room. She also prepared adorable amenities for my kids, including balloons, plushies, and beach bags.
When we arrived, Farez and Rina personally greeted us and made us feel so welcomed. It was so nice that we didn’t have to go through the typical check-in queue and have someone with a personal touch to greet our family. Rina then passed our room keys and toured us around the hotel, and explained all the facilities — especially the pools, which have many different kinds of balls and floaties for kids. Throughout our stay, she checked in regularly via WhatsApp, arranged complimentary breakfast and poolside drinks, and even reminded us about safety around the slides. She also shared a great tip: you can see fireworks between 7:40–8:00 PM from the pool area (from Wings of Time).
⭐️ Hotel & Location Tips
Village Hotel Sentosa is extremely convenient for families:
• KidZania, Beach Station, and the monorail are all nearby.
• Scentopia and the cable car station are about a 2-minute walk away.
• The beach is close, easy for quick outings.
• There are plenty of restaurants, plus a 7-Eleven right across the hotel.
• If you don’t feel like eating out, you can easily order GrabFood or Foodpanda with tons of options from Sentosa and VivoCity and the vicinity.
• The hotel provides a free shuttle to VivoCity, which is extremely convenient.
• There’s also a café/shop in the lobby selling snacks, drinks, and essentials.
⭐️ Breakfast
Breakfast was great — a wide variety of breads, local dishes, Western selections, cereals, fruits, and a live egg station.
