Was looking forward to a weekend getaway. Had tickets to the Astros game for Saturday night. Check in was uneventful with very nice people working. Valet was a hoot. Got room keys and off we go to our...Was looking forward to a weekend getaway. Had tickets to the Astros game for Saturday night. Check in was uneventful with very nice people working. Valet was a hoot. Got room keys and off we go to our room. Exit the elevator on the 3rd floor and you are greeted to the very pungent aroma of marijuana being smoked somewhere in the vicinity of our floor. Got to the room and the smell had permeated into the room. Sheets and pillows smelled of it, towels as well. By the end of the stay the clothes in our suitcases smelled of it. I was concerned about driving home on Sunday because there was no way a cop wouldn't think my wife and I weren't stoned out of our minds in the event we got pulled over. We notified the front desk but I'm sure little to no effort was put into locating the culprit. Large signs in the lobby another located by the elevator and a card in the room all stating no smoking property. I was young once I liked to party as much as the next guy but I was a little more discreet when I was smoking a joint. Overall the property was nice and the staff was great however I will stay somewhere else from now on. A few bad apples have spoiled it for me!Show More
