I came to stay with my wife and 2 small children at Altis Grand Hotel in October. We were due to travel to the hotel earlier in the year but were unable to due to a passport issue. We were understanda...I came to stay with my wife and 2 small children at Altis Grand Hotel in October. We were due to travel to the hotel earlier in the year but were unable to due to a passport issue. We were understandably upset regarding this but the hotel were beyond helpful and very supportive. They made arrangements for us to stay at the hotel on alternative dates. When we arrived, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff were really welcoming and greeted us and our children. They made us feel incredibly looked after and no request was too much. The guest services team were the most friendly staff we have dealt with in our time travelling and they made it very special for our two young children. Every day that we arrived back from a busy day exploring we would always find the most delicious and beautiful treats in our room – this was a particular highlight for our children who loved the popcorn machine and corn they left in our room. On Halloween, we returned back to the room to find the guest services team had decorated our room with lanterns and signs and our children were very excited. I would like to make a special mention to Artur from Guest Services who was the nicest person and always available to help and look after us. His team would often check in and ask us if were happy and if we needed anything. The breakfast team (who made the best soya lattes!) would give us take out boxes for our children so we had snacks throughout the day, which was very thoughtful. It was truly a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go back and visit soon! Thank you Altis Grand Hotel.Show More

The venue is excellent, perfectly located in easy walking distance of lots of great restaurants and other places to visit, and with superb facilities. The staff were all great too, always keen to help out and flexible to deal with our changing demands. Special thanks to Claudia and the events team for their brilliant communications in preparing for the event, and for being always available on site to assist and make sure things ran smoothly. The A/V providers recommended by Claudia (RxF) were brilliant too, as was the restaurant (Sacramento do Chiado) she suggested for our group dinner. Food for the breaks, lunches and drinks reception canapes was fantastic, noted as being the best we've had at one of our events - in fact, several people said it was the best event we've ever held overall, in close to 20 years of running similar meetings. Coupled with perfectly clean, comfortable and well-appointed accomodation, I'd thoroughly recommend the Altis Grand to anyone visiting Lisbon, for business or pleasure.Show More

Altis is a very busy hotel in downtown Lisbon. It takes around 5/10 mins to get to Rossio square via an uber. The service is polite and efficient. The bar facilities, pool, gym etc are all quite g...Altis is a very busy hotel in downtown Lisbon. It takes around 5/10 mins to get to Rossio square via an uber. The service is polite and efficient. The bar facilities, pool, gym etc are all quite good. We spent a few nights in the bar and the main man up there (sporting fan) was extremely polite and knowledgeable on Lisbon etc. He helped arrange us a seat by the TV for a Chelsea game! The hotel does need a little updating in terms of the actual rooms, not the general hotel which is absolutely fine. We didn’t have place to charge our phones by the beds as the plugs are just an old USB, no Type C or standard power plug available. The only other issue was the sink in the bathroom was really blocked, made it a little uncomfortable to brush your teeth with the tap running as the bowel would fill up. Generally a nice hotel, in my opinion it’s better to avoid going with kids. The spa area is more geared up for a quiet, calm environment which obviously kids will disturb that.Show More

The Altis Grand Hotel offered a great central location, multiple meeting spaces, and affordable room block rates. Throughout the planning of the multi-day meeting and actual meeting execution, the team at the Altis - led by Susana who was my main event POC - was extremely responsive and provided super quick customer service. Everyone commented on how nice the meeting rooms were (the views!), and how good the food was. For any questions that came up, I really appreciated the team helping to solve the issues very quickly. Specifically, I wanted to provide a big thank you to Susana, Claudia, Bruno, Pedro, Leonor, Ines, and Tiago who all made the meeting come together with wonderful service, food, and overall care of our attendees.Show More
