I recently stayed here for the 2025 SWE Conference and this is not your typical Embassy Suites. It is old and not all rooms are suites. Some are a studio that believe was once a suite that someone dec...I recently stayed here for the 2025 SWE Conference and this is not your typical Embassy Suites. It is old and not all rooms are suites. Some are a studio that believe was once a suite that someone decided to chop up to make more rooms. The breakfast was not good and the evening reception was a joke. Cheese and crackers been this way at most embassy suites since Covid. I believe the bathrooms violate some type of building code. If you are in the toilet you can’t close the door, ridiculous. Bathroom is a shoebox. Need some serious TLC and renovations. Breakfast I went once and didn’t return. This hotel charged me $468 per night for what and then tell me I couldn’t collect points because my company booked through a third party. Shenanigans. Never received checkin points or gift either. As this was my first time ever to New Orleans and believe last, but if not I wouldn’t stay here unless it was FREE!!Show More

Marvin and the day staff went beyond the call to make sure we had everything we needed! We loved that we saw the same smiling faces at the desk from check in to check out. The staff made a point to engage with us each time we walked through the lobby. The evening staff, again the same engaging staff members each night, made sure we had everything we needed! We travel to New Orleans often and will certainly make sure to book this property again! We loved the large suite, the balcony and the breakfast was so delicious! The evening cocktails helped get each night of our stay off to a great start! We can’t wait to return to the Embassy Suites in New Orleans!!!Show More

We spent 6 hrs in the museum for 48 dollars each and it was well worth the visit. The hotel is rather chilly in the dining areas but the food is well worth the price. Breakfast was nice but not much variety. The reception staff are welcoming especially Marvin who was always ready with a smile and went that extra mile to give us a good stay. The rooms are lovely with heating you can alter yourself which was great. Really enjoyed the stay for 3nights.Show More

Husband went to take a shower because we thought we had hot water back, but stopped after 2 minutes. Do not stay in room 818 if you hate cold showers like I do.
