Maintenance did come out promptly when notified, but due t...Hotel room 429 was not cleaned well before visit; shower was completely clogged with hair, and hair was visible in other parts of the shower. Maintenance did come out promptly when notified, but due to his hard of hearing, walked in on me before I could put any clothes on. He did unclog the shower and noted that it was a result of poor housekeeping.
The shower gel bottle was off the wall in a soap dish, and had very little gel in it. When housekeeping came the next day, they did make up the bed and refresh the towels, but did not fill up the gel, or take the trash that was bagged up neatly next to the trash can. Other minor details were not attended to as well.
Lastly, for the room, I picked up the phone to call the front desk, and it wasn’t plugged in! I had to find the cord and plug it in before I could make the report about the shower. Also, there are 2 tvs in the rooms, but the remote for the 1st tv was in the bedroom on the floor under a table. I corrected that for them as well.
As for the hotel, they are renovating, and had jack hammer noise from 8:00am to 6:00pm. You need ear plugs if you need to sleep during that time. When you go to their free happy hour for your 2 drinks, the waiter can’t hear what you want due to the constant and loud noise. Some adjustments during renovation is understandable, but this hotel is doing an awful job of making a decent experience for their customers during this time. If I could have, I would have checked into another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel while they are in reconstruction; call first, and if they are, go somewhere else.
Finally, the desk clerk/manager promised me bonus points to compensate for some of my inconvenience; so far no points. Maybe they were saying this for the moment, or maybe they will do it later. If so, I’ll update the review.Show More
