The location and check in was perfect our room had stains everywhere ans the TV wasn't working. We had our k9 dog and was charged a large fee that was not discussed to us upon checking in. Really not impressed and will not be staying again. It's really not worth the money. Try the Muir stay away from this hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to services, and its price is suitable and affordable for everyone. The room is large and clean, and the staff are excellent. As for the food, I did not order anything. I recommend it to anyone who visits Halifax.

10/10 Location and comfort.
Location was perfect. Walking the wharf was nice and led to shops, museums and restaurants. The Pedway attached to the hotel and was handy for walking part of the way to destinations comfortably.

Very comfortable and clean - Pool facilities are excellent and clean, The staff were very attentive, yes the Marriott is a little expensive, but in comparison to other hotels in Halifax, this is definitely one of the better. Location is excellent. Breakfast is ok, the evening meals were not as appetizing - so we ended up ordering food in and getting the kiddies meals from within the hotel for room service

9/10 This is a great hotel if you are only visiting Halifax area.
This is a great hotel if you are only staying in Halifax area and close to the airport. The waterfront area is accessible with great restaurants, boat tours, farmer's market, etc. The hotel dining room staff was exceptional. We ate at Five Fisherman, Salty and another outdoor bar restaurant at the waterfront. Food was exceptional everywhere. There are plenty of places to sit and read on the boardwalk which was nice while enjoying the water views. Had one room service meal was great.

My room had a view overlooking the harbour so I could see all the ferries and boats on the waters. Awesome!
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and provided quick solutions to queries.
Having a car park was also a bonus!
Location was perfect for a hotel. You just walked outside to the quay!
The inhouse coffee shop which provided a better choice for a small breakfast.

Great location, my daughter is disabled so it was nice to have so much happening, so close by. The friendly staff, especially the housekeeping was above expectations. The restaurant was nice atmosphereand good food.

The hotel is in a fantastic place Grady views easy access to the harbour restaurants shops ferry. The current roadworks are annoying gaining access but got there ok. Price is debatable.
