Checkout time is clearly indicated as 12:00 noon. On my final day of the stay I left my room for an early morning appointment and left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, planning on checking out on my return. Upon return, I noticed that the sign was gone. I entered my room to find it cleaned (for the next guest) and my belongings missing. I went to the front desk to enquire. No one, including front desk clerk, housekeeping or the manager/supervisor could locate my belongings. It took approximately 50 minutes to find my bag. I said that I was not happy and the only response was “Have a good day”. The delay caused major issues with my schedule. Since the bag was now out of my possession I had to thoroughly check the bag to ensure that my contents were intact and that nothing was added since I was flying in a couple of hours. I felt that my privacy was violated due to the room entry and my property was taken without consent. I had not yet checked out. I filled out their customer survey with these details and was hoping for acknowledgement of the issue but one week later there is no response. I most likely would not stay there again. If you value privacy and good service then avoid this hotel.Show More

However, The Classic breakfast food was terrible. My husband returned his meal to the kitchen. Bread was not toasted and was cold; sausages were cold as well. When it was returned, it was still not very edible. I ate very little of my Breakfast sandwich as it was so greasy. I guess it depends on who is in the kitchen at times like this, as next time it could be much better. Except for the breakfast food, we would still recommend the Lord Nelson.Show More
