I spent 11 nights here on a business trip, and what could have been a long and tiring stay turned into an experience of warmth and kindness that truly felt like home. Every single staff member went above and beyond. From the friendly smiles at the front desk to the housekeeping team who ensured my room was always spotless and inviting. A special shoutout to Arshdeep whose genuine warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism took customer service to a whole new level. Arsh made every interaction memorable and it is rare to meet someone who blends efficiency with such heart. The 14th floor is an absolute treat and I highly recommend it if you can. The beautiful views of downtown Halifax and the harbour are stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The little touches, from the complimentary snacks to the thoughtful amenities, made all the difference. The location is ideal, close to great restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. The pool and gym are clean and well maintained, offering a nice way to unwind after a busy day. Overall, the Hampton Inn has mastered the art of hospitality. It is the people, though, who make it shine. I will absolutely be staying here again when I return to Halifax. It is a place that truly makes you feel cared for.Show More

When we got to the hotel to check in we were informed that our third party book reservation had not been received by the hotel. Jenna was working the desk and throughout the whole ordeal she was very ...When we got to the hotel to check in we were informed that our third party book reservation had not been received by the hotel. Jenna was working the desk and throughout the whole ordeal she was very gracious, friendly, and worked diligently to make sure that in fact they did not have our reservation. She offered us accommodations regardless. When trying to work things out with the third party I was told when I called them to go back to the hotel and I was lucky enough to be able to call and talk to Jenna she again graciously searched for the reservation email claimed to have been sent. And before hanging up she let me know she was at the end of her shift but would leave detailed information for the next person. After 2 hours we were finally able to check in. We enjoyed our stay and I was glad to be able to thank Jenna in person the next day.Show More

She greeted me with a smile and when I found out that I made mistake by not reserving another night, she gladly found that I could extend my stay. I asked her for suggestions on eating and the boardwalk close by. She was more than helpful and made some great suggestions. The only thing I would say about the property is the parking garage is across from the hotel. So you have to park your car take the elevator down to the ground floor and walk across the driveway to the hotel to take another elevator up to your floor. It would have been better and more convenient to have the garage and hotel combined into one property.Show More
