Rooms are beautiful , very comfortable and even though slightly snug, it is designed using the space beautifully and functionally. The room darkening shades are the best!!!! Thank you for great experience. The Kingi is EXCELLENT. If you can go to the Library upstairs FOR GUESTS ONLY and have a drink, and BONUS can dine with Kingi in a beautiful space and quite private. If you are lucky you will meet Luciano. He is the reason our last night meal ( the Kingi chef selection option ) was quite possibly the most memorable evening out of 30 days of our travels. It was also our last night. Luciano you are a gem.Show More

( they have bikes available for guests use too which is really helpful since Auckland is extremely bike friendly) But what really sets the hotel Britomart above the rest is the staff. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable. In particular the concierge Baj. Any request was met with a smile and a helpful hand. Especially since many unique high end hotels like these are owned by bigger hotel chains it is rare to find such personable knowledgeable staff that seem to love their jobs. Perfect place to stay while in Auckland.Show More

The area around the hotel is ideal to explore both for shopping and nightlife, especially if you want walkability. The hotel is very modern and focused on efficiency. The rooms with minor exceptions are 22 sqm. If I was traveling for business with just a carry-on bag or single w a small suitcase the room is great. Nice amenities, well thought out and functional. We have been traveling for three weeks w larger bags and if felt tight. Very friendly staff. Great concept for the right guests.Show More

The reception team were so helpful,...I was feeling a bit overwhelmed from travelling and needed a reset, so I chose The Hotel Britomart after a friend told me how amazing it was. Honestly, what a stay! The reception team were so helpful, the food at Kingi was excellent, and then there was the Library—at first I thought it was just a place to read, and yes, there are books, but with such great wines and cocktails on offer, who has time for reading? Meeting the manager, Luciano, was also a real pleasure and truly topped off my stay. Well done to everyone at The Hotel Britomart!Show More
