It’s all about location and you are smack dab in the middle of Madrid. However, this is an old hotel and there was a lot of noise from within (ie: moving furniture, hammering, banging noises, conversations from other rooms, etc.) Our room was quite small but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room felt cramped. Ok for a short stay only. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The air in the hallways felt musty and the carpeting made it difficult for rolling your luggage. The lighting is dim. Needs brighter lighting. No fridge in the room and that is a huge necessity nowadays. So if you have medication that needs cold storage or anything else for that matter then it is a problem. Personnel were all very charming. You can’t beat the location. If they can fix the things I mentioned it would have a better rating. Show More

We had to store them closed on top of each other. I appreciate we didn't book a room with a terrace but we got a back room so no view at all. The photos of the rooms are deceptive. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options on offer. Location is great for being amongst the biz. Be aware taxis cant get to the hotel so drop you to walk the rest of the way.Show More

My husband use the sink to wash his hands and water came out of the drain on the bathroom floor with a very unpleasant smell. We stood that night in that hotel because it was already too late (10pm) to look for another hotel. Next morning we checkout and transferred to another hotel. The staff was very helpful.Show More

Lots of bar and restaurant options. Room was compact, but quiet and had all of the modern essentials. The second floor lounge is a relaxing spot with lots of comfortable seating. Breakfast was included with our booking and was great - with many options to choose from. It is somewhat pricey to purchase on a daily basis. We were much more satisfied with our stay here than at a previous hotel in close proximity. Great value.Show More
