I honestly don’t remember experience this bad and hotel this run down. And the fact that bathroom has mold and the side table is about to fall off isn’t the most irritating. I called to arrange the shuttle before we even took off from Chicago, and they said “Call when you are at the pickup spot, it will be 15-20min”. Well… I called at 8:15 when we were at the pickup spot and once again: “15-20min”… but the shuttle wouldn’t come. All other hotels had their shuttles come and go but not this one. Another mother and her daughter were waiting for it as well and said they had already been there for 30min. I called several times to check - “it’s on its way”. Then we finally called again close to 9pm and the receptionist plainly hung up on us. We ended up walking over to the uber line and getting an uber. They finally called my cell at 9pm saying the guy was pulling in. I don’t expect much from airport hotels, but people stay there for one reason only - convenience and easy transportation to the airport. I also get it that things happen, and if they had told us “45min wait” - we would have taken an uber right away and not wasted almost an hour. And very importantly - the receptionist shouldn’t hang up on people. We are in an uber now going back to the airport to catch our flight - can’t trust the shuttle.Show More

From the moment I arrived, the experience was absolutely disastrous. The staff is the least friendly, least helpful, and most unprofessional I have ever encountered. Nobody wanted to assist us, nobody cared, and absolutely nobody made even the slightest effort to be polite. On top of that, no one wears uniforms or name tags, so you can’t even identify who works there or who to complain to. They also charged us an arbitrary $40 “early check-in” fee that was never authorized, never mentioned, and completely unjustified. When we asked about it, the staff was rude and dismissive. The hotel itself is in terrible condition. Poorly maintained, dirty, and clearly neglected. The shower didn’t even have hot water. There’s no airport shuttle, even though they imply they offer convenient transportation. Everything about this place is misleading and unacceptable. The only positive thing about our stay is that it was just for one night. This is, without exaggeration, the worst hotel and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Absolutely awful. The a/c in the room rattled so I requested another room. Instead of a quiet room as an accommodation, I was moved to a corner room that overlooked the highway, and all the associated light and noise. I guess I was being punished for being a nuisance because there is no way the hotel was full. I echo all of the other 1 star comments, razor wire around the hotel, poor customer service, room was in poor condition, etc. The fitness center only had 4 free weights and only the 2 x45 lb ones were a set. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the loud a/c in the 2nd room helped block some of the road noise.Show More
