I stayed solo in studio queen room for 8 nights. They offer 4pm checkin but I got text stating it would be ready for 4:30pm checkin and I got a text around 7:30pm that room was ready. All of did not affect me personally since I was in a flight to Chicago so I got to my room around 8:30pm. However if I was in Chicago earlier I would have been frustrated with checkin time. The apartment studio was spacious, queen bed was comfy, bathroom has tub and good shower and provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash/handsoap but no body lotion. The toilet flow was weak. Kitchen was a normal apartment kitchen plus an oven. Balcony had table and 2 chairs. Washer and dryer was nice to have. AC worked ok but it takes awhile to get cold. Wifi was good. Tv worked but no regular basic cable channels. Whole Foods and subway train was block away. I did not have car so I don’t know about parking situation. I wish there were more bright lights in common area/bed area. The only real complaint I have is noise level, you can hear everything in the hallway so people talking or getting off elevator, but the worse noise came from outside where there were sirens from cops/ambulance/fire trucks almost every couple hours and the windows must not be thick as it sounded like sirens were right next to me and I was on 19th floor. I lived in Manhattan for 20 years and I never heard this much sirens in my life. If you are sensitive to noise during the night, you might want earplugs. Overall a good stay.Show More

The location is excellent — just a short walk (a couple of blocks) to the Magnificent Mile, the river, and plenty of shopping and dining options. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, including a full kitchen and in-room washer and dryer, which was a big plus for a longer stay. The only thing we felt was missing was blackout curtains, as the room got quite bright early in the morning. The building is shared with permanent residents, but our floor appeared to be dedicated to Kasa accommodations. There was a bit of hallway noise from people entering or leaving their rooms, but it wasn't disruptive. We also appreciated having someone at the front desk whenever we entered or exited the building — it added an extra sense of security.. Based on this experience, we’d definitely consider staying at other Kasa properties in the future if they’re similar in quality. A comfortable and convenient option for anyone visiting Chicago.Show More

It’s about a three minute walk from the Mag Mile where you can shop til you drop, a ten minute walk to the Bean, and then a 15-20 minute walk to the Art Institute or other parts of the Loop. We LOVED the layout of the studio, with a small wall decides that made it feel like there was a bit of space between the sleeping area and living room. The full kitchen is a bonus as well. This particular location has an Amazon quick grocery and Whole Foods just around the block. My wife thought the bed was a bit hard, but I slept like a baby. We made use of the balcony on our last night as well, eating dinner outside and enjoying the lovely September weather. Will absolutely stay again!Show More

There were a couple of things that would have made this a five out of five for us. The parking situation was not easy. And we would have appreciated having room darkening shades in the twin bedroom, where the sun rose every morning. There were room darkening shades in the master.
