Starting with dinner, Zuma remains the gold standard for a modern Japanese Izakaya. The vibe is high-energy, and the waterfront views are unmatched. The food was definitely the highlight—the Chirashi Maki was incredibly fresh and vibrant, and the Arjun Negi Toro Maki was easily some of the best sushi I've had in the city. Every dish was hitting; it’s a Miami essential for anyone looking for that perfect mix of luxury dining and a high-end atmosphere. However, what really made the night stress-free was the valet service, specifically Ramon Chavez. Usually, valet in Downtown Miami is a total headache, but Ramon handled everything like a pro. He greeted me with genuine kindness and was incredibly vigilant with my vehicle from start to finish. Even with the heavy dinner rush at the hotel, he stayed proactive and kept the flow moving smoothly. Ramon is also super knowledgeable about the area; he’s got a great perspective on how to navigate the downtown traffic, which is a lifesaver. It’s rare to find a valet associate who is that attentive and professional while keeping such a chill, welcoming energy. Between the elite meal at Zuma and the top-tier service from Ramon, the Epic really lives up to its name.Show More

Beautiful full bathtub, separated toilet area, double vanity. The lobby, restaurant, elevator, hallways were incredibly nice. The Ubers arrive incredibly fast, which is a major plus. Cons - Hotel check in was pushed back to around 4pm. They provided comps in food, spa, etc., to make up for the inconvenience. Speaker/stereo only in bedroom, shower only water fall, no additional extensions. Loud, bustling area so you hear constant construction, bridge traffic, etc. We ate at “31” for brunch and dinner one day and it was good, 8/10. However it was pretty pricey, I.e., we received banana chips for our ceviche and guacamole and I went and asked for tortilla chips and was charged $5 for a small cup of chips, when I say small, literally about 7-9 chips. Pretty ridiculous. All and all, we have stayed at a lot of places in Brickell and around the world and while Kimpton is super nice, we wouldn’t probably come back as there are just so many options that are in a more walkable area with more restaurants and activities closer. Also we were told we would have an “ocean/water” view. No, you basically have an ocean front view harbor view with bridge and condominiums to view. It’s not like some of the other hotels that may have a completely unobstructed view. So there was slight disappointment there.Show More

A special thank you to Luna and Angel at the front desk for their kindness and availability. They really took our request into account, and we’re grateful for their attention to detail. The room was spacious, well-organized, and tastefully maintained. Housekeeping was always ready and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was lovely — great ambiance and music — and we really enjoyed relaxing there. The food was also very good and a special mention goes to the bartender Giovanni, who was super professional. Overall, a fabulous experience. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing!Show More
