I would not recommend this hotel. While the location is fine in downtown, so many other things are bad. Rooms: - Odd, odd designs. The building was something else at some point. They didn’t move wa...I would not recommend this hotel. While the location is fine in downtown, so many other things are bad. Rooms: - Odd, odd designs. The building was something else at some point. They didn’t move walls or redesign for common sense. My room had 2 bathrooms, attached to each other. Two sinks. A huge tub with a toilet literally up so close to it. Then a massive amount of space. No hooks to be found in the bathroom despite miles of blank walls. Wanna hang your robe? Sorry, no can do. - Furniture is beat up and stained. Service: - The restaurant service is sloth-like. Staff is friendly and tries, but my salmon one night at dinner in an empty restaurant took 45 minutes. Breakfast was worse. They don’t keep plates out for the buffet claiming transients come off the street. This is despite the restaurant on the second floor, having to go past the valet out front and the front desk. So you wait 10 minutes just to get a plate. - Lines at the front desk, but only 1 person working. Second worker comes out to ask a question, sees line, goes back of house and ignores everyone. Would choose another hotel.Show More

I also asked if we could check in early. The manager Dwan said we could get that done for our arrival time. When we arrived three of the four rooms were available. They told me my room wasn't ready that they would call me when it was ready. They said they could get me into another room but it would be away from the rest of family. I told them I would wait for the room. I waited for awhile. Then I called the manager to see the status of my room. He told me he was going to call the cleaning crew and he would call me back in 3 minutes. I waited to hear from him but he never called back. I decided to call again and he had gone on a break. I was really upset with his customer service which I thought was very unprofessional. Then I was told by the receptionist I could still have the room they had offered me away from my family so I decided to take it. When I walked into it smelled like fresh paint. I also had a dirty sponge left on the counter. I then went downstairs to request if their was another room I could be moved too because the paint smell was strong. I was told by receptionist that they were fully booked. I was very upset about the situation in my room. Worst customer service I have ever received at a hotel. I don't recommend staying there.Show More

From the moment we walked in until we checked out everyone was pleasant and kind. The ambience, the esthetics and the friendly staff made this stay feel like home for my family. When viewing the property online, we decided to call and was greeted by Will Tinner. He was so polite and knowledgeable about the hotel it was very refreshing. His phone etiquette is top notch and he deserves to be a trainer. I am a firm believer you can train people but character is the key. He made us feel welcomed before we arrived at the hotel. We were trying to make the right decision for our family and he left us no choice. He made sure all of our needs were met along with ensuring we were satisfied. Upon arrival we were greeted by Madelyn Been who provided us with detailed information regarding our stay and welcomed us with open arms. Then the bell staff assured us to our room with which ease and comfort I am already reviewing my calendar for our next stay at this luxurious hotel. I am huge on comfort and ambiance but the air freshener provides an added bonus point that warrants my stay again. I am unsure of the management at this property but you all are doing an amazing job with staff and cleanliness. Keep up the good work My only take away is the need for an ice machine on every floor.Show More
