If I could give zero stars I would. Currently at the hotel right now. We booked a suite for a one night stay. We arrived at 8;00 pm tonight. We were told our room wasn't ready and needed to be cleaned...If I could give zero stars I would. Currently at the hotel right now. We booked a suite for a one night stay. We arrived at 8;00 pm tonight. We were told our room wasn't ready and needed to be cleaned. The manager was rude and disrespectful and acted like we were the ones acting unreasonable. When I tried to get a picture of his name tag he took it off and said he didn't have to identify himself. He said the previous guest had a late checkout and he would never tell a guest to leave. Excuse me but what? What hotel lets a guest stay so late even when another guest has already paid for the room? What about Marriott's guaranteed 4:00 pm check in which is clearly stated on their website. He said housekeeping was working on another room and when they were finished they would clean our room - btw hotel is not sold out. When I said why wouldn't you pull the housekeeper so they could do our room right away his response was "don't tell me how to do my job". He then went back to the front desk and started helping other customers with no updates at all. I'm embarrassed to say we paid $800.00 for the one night stay here. So far no apology and no compensation. Finally was given room at 9:00pm. AVOID at all costs. Luckily I have video and pics of the whole ordeal and have a case number with Marriott corporate already. I rarely give bad reviews, but in this case is beyond warranted.Show More

This is absolutely a convenient option if you have an early morning flight out of PHL or you have a long layover overnight at PHL. The hotel is connected to the Airport terminal C. It’s just a 10 mins...This is absolutely a convenient option if you have an early morning flight out of PHL or you have a long layover overnight at PHL. The hotel is connected to the Airport terminal C. It’s just a 10 mins walk from lobby to check in counter. The front desk staff is very professional yet polite. There are no bottled water in the room but I got one while checking in. Room was spacious clean with a coffee maker and view of the airport operational with take off and landings. The hotel has a restaurant and a Starbucks so it’s very convenient if you want a proper meal or something grab and go. Aviation Grill has a decent menu and a very attentive staff. Check in, when we found it, was swift and efficient. On entering our room my first thought was: This is not a $400+ room. Drab and run down, scruffy beyond belief. Battered furniture, bathroom from the fifties rusty fittings, water pressure from the stone age. Beds were very comfortable though. Breakfast was a poor effort, very little choice, no cereals, no fruit etc. Staff were very pleasant and helpful though. Marriott you need to step up, we appreciate we paid for location but this hotel was the same as the last Marriott we stayed at three years ago, poor.Show More
