The hotel was fantastic and despite arriving late on day 1 (11:30pm) we were greeted warmly by the man on reception and promptly shown to our room which was in the annex, separate to the main hotel, but only 30 seconds walk away down a narrow lane. The room was large and modern and with a large bed, great bathroom with a rain shower and a fridge sticked with free items, such as water, juice and yoghurt (replaced daily). There was also a safe and a Nespresso machine with ample pods that were also replaced daily. On night one we didn't get a great night sleep as the bed and pillows were a little hard for us, but once I raised this with reception in the morning, they corrected this with different pillows and a mattress topper. Couldn't have asked for better service. The bakery that is next to the hotel and part of the chain, is also very good and we had great coffee and pastries there one morning. The hotel is located only minutes from St Marks Square and right in the middle of the action, although quiet at night and so no noise issue. The hotel is only about 5 mins walk to Rialto Bridge so easy to get a water ferry to the airport or a water taxi from the bus terminal and then a short walk to the hotel. Very good value for money, and I was genuinely surprised at how good it actually was. We will definitely return next time we are in VeniceShow More

I was so pleasantly surprised when upon arrival at 10am, our room was ready! The room was pretty typical European size, but we had room for all of our luggage and could still walk around the room with ease. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great! The bathroom was also nice, everything clean and in working condition. The bed was very comfortable. All of the staff members we encountered were very nice, the front desk even gave us a map of the city and helped us secure a dinner reservation (and included the restaurant location on the map). There is a café attached to the hotel where we had a coffee and pastry just about every morning. I loved being centrally located, and I did not experience any issues with the location, such as noise. I would recommend Rosa Salva to anyone visiting Venice. I hope to be so lucky to stay here again one day!Show More

The location is perfect in the heart of Venice and only a few minutes from the major tourist spots, which made getting around very easy. The service was excellent with staff available around the clock and always willing to help with luggage or anything else I needed. I stayed in the annex, which is essentially an off site apartment about a two minute walk from the main building. It felt like living as a local and exceeded my expectations in every way. I understand that some rooms in the main hotel may not have access to a lift, but the annex I stayed in had lift access to all floors. If having a lift is important for your stay, I would recommend calling ahead to confirm and let the staff know your needs. I would highly recommend Rosa Salva to anyone visiting Venice.Show More

The front desk clerk was fantastic, SO helpful and arranged our water taxi trip back to the airport at the end of our trip. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The only problem I encountered in the entire weekend was we visited the coffee shop downstairs twice, and whilst the majority of the staff were lovely the silver haired lady on the till was rude and offensive on both days we visited, she literally threw my change at me on both visits which was disappointing. The only conclusion I could come to was she didnt like English people as she was completely different with the Italian customers. Although it could have been she simply didnt like me, did it affect my stay no, would I stay here again? Most definitely.Show More
