A very clean & well maintained hotel where the staff work hard t...We are glad that we booked this hotel. Very quiet away from the noise of Ubud centre and very relaxing. A 20 minute walk to the Centre. A very clean & well maintained hotel where the staff work hard to please. We would describe it as being immaculate. Suite we booked was very nice and comfortable with a huge bathroom and huge balcony space. Towels were fresh every day and we loved the towel art- swans flowers and elephants😂 Toiletries were provided, very nice in addition to free mineral water every day. We took our own travel iron which was very useful. A choice at breakfast a la carte which we liked, with fresh fruit and freshly made juice every day. All day dining is available. Our favourite things …. Ginger & Lemongrass Crème Brûlée absolute yum, Samosas & Corn Fritter Snacks. Spaghetti carbonara on the last evening was a surprise & very good. Drinks from the bar were also good and it was nice to have a selection of non alcoholic cold drinks our fave being the iced tea with lemongrass & ginger. Spa treatments were beautiful & highly recommended, all of the ladies who took care of us were so kind. It was nice to walk through the beautiful tropical gardens which are also maintained very well. A nice restful holiday for couples away from the noise. The staff were all lovely and anything we asked for they were happy to oblige. We mostly ate at the hotel but there are other restaurants around the area, the vast majority are on the main road such as Arcadia etc which will require a steep walk back up the hill to the hotel, not so good in the dark. We weren’t made aware that there was a guest Library and it was only during our last day that we discovered it hidden away on the other side of the upstairs restaurant, which was a lovely surprise. There is a nice pool area and even if you don’t fancy a swim it is nice to lay on the sun beds with a good book.Show More

Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer auf der Dachterrasse im zweiten Stock, ein riesiges Schlafzimmer mit ...Unterkunft: Wir hatten für 4 Nächte die Penthouse-Suite gebucht und waren geflashed als wir dort ankamen. Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer auf der Dachterrasse im zweiten Stock, ein riesiges Schlafzimmer mit angegliedertem Bad und Toilette. Die Einrichtung war toll und hat uns sehr gefallen da wir beide Holzmöbel lieben. Im Bad waren Pflegeprodukte vorhanden und es gab die Möglichkeit sich Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich gut steuern und war fast geräuschlos. Auch ein kleiner Kühlschrank war vorhanden und jeden Tag gab es kostenlos Trinkwasser in Flaschen. Das Hotel mit seinen einzelnen Gebäuden ist in einem wunderbar angelegten Garten mit vielen blühenden Pflanzen integriert. Dort befindet sich auch der Pool mit einer kleinen Bar, dort gibt es am Nachmittag auch kostenlos Kaffee oder Tee. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Getränk und pro Person einen Gutschein für eine Massage. Personal: Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich, immer hilfsbereit und ansprechbar um Wünsche zu erfüllen. Verpflegung: Das Frühstück wurde im eigenen Restaurant nach Karte angeboten. Die Auswahl war national und international, was uns auch sehr gut gefallen hat. Kaffee und Tee gab es im self-service und zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag neben den normalen Säften immer ein Special. Das Restaurant bietet auch Lunch und Dinner an das man sich auch auf das Zimmer bringen lassen kann. Die Speisen waren lecker und auf Wunsch auch in der Schärfe an europäische Gaumen angepasst. Umgebung: Das Hotel liegt relativ zentral in Ubud auf einem kleinen Hügel. Nach Ubud-Zentrum läuft man ca. 1 km bergab. Für die Fahrt in die Stadt und auch zurück bietet sich ein Transport mit einem Motorroller an. An der Rezeption ist eine Buchung möglich, man kann aber auch mit Grab, wie überall in Indonesien, einen oder mehrere (Familienaccount) Roller buchen. Auf Taxi kann man getrost verzichten, da diese im Verkehr nicht wirklich vorwärts kommen und die Fahrten ziemlich lange dauern.Show More

The location in Penestanan is quiet yet only a short walk from the center of Ubud – perfect for exploring the town and returning to a peaceful environment. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the spa area, offering a wide range of massages and wellness treatments for relaxing moments. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with traditional Balinese accents. Breakfast is served à la carte and offers a good mix of Western and Indonesian options. Notes: – The pool is rather small but nice for relaxing. – Guests looking for lively nightlife should note that the hotel is in a quiet area – ideal for relaxation, less for evening entertainment. Conclusion: Sri Ratih Cottages is a well-maintained, comfortable hotel with excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere – perfect for couples and travelers seeking peace and comfort in Ubud. Le aree comuni sono ben tenute e la piscina è un luogo molto apprezzato, perfetta per un bagno rinfrescante dopo una giornata di escursioni. Le camere sono confortevoli e in linea con la categoria dell'hotel. La colazione offriva una buona varietà di scelta e ci ha permesso di iniziare bene la giornata! La piccola SPA è stata un'aggiunta gradita al soggiorno. Abbiamo provato il massaggio tradizionale e l'esperienza è stata meravigliosa: le terapiste sono molto competenti e il massaggio è stato davvero rilassante, un momento che consigliamo sicuramente.
